is it right that the first line convert character stream into byte stream and write the byte stream to the socket?
is it right that the second line reads byte stream and converts byte stream into character stream?

I’m using Symantec Ghost Turtorial 11.5 in order to try it out before buying the entire program and use it for building PCs at home, but the site doesn’t provide a quick guide on how to use it, and neither can I find a quick guide online that can provide me some assistance, can anyone please provide me the info or have a PDF copy of the instructions, I would greatly appreciate it very much.

Hey ya’ll, Zoe again on my bro’s account
Im 15 and my best friend Matt is 13. i’ve been crushing on him for ages! we have so much in common and see each other lots in a week (go to brother and sister schools). even though he’s younger he’s really mature and even taller than me. known him over a year and we’re very close. some things he does:
1. gives me nicknames
2. stares at me
3. has inside jokes with me
4. smiles/grins at me
5. tries to make me laugh
6. whenever i mention a guy i say is hot or that i like, he always badmouths them and puts them down even if they’re actually nice. then he’d change his mind about the guy and say they’re really cool when a few months later i said i didn’t like them anymore.
7. we were rehearsing choreography for a school performance, sitting together at the back. he put his arm round me and swayed me from side to side for a few lines even though we’re not supposed to do that. i smiled at him shyly and he smiled back, looked embarrassed and awkward, then slowly pulled his arm away from my shoulders, still smiling at me.
8. he picked me a flower cos i said they were pretty, then he got all worried when i got sap on my skin and made me go get water with him to wash it off.
9. we hug in person and put xo/xxx etc at the end of convos
10. we text, message and talk on facebook all the time
11. we hang out
12. his guy friend Kyle got jealous when we first met cos Matt was having fun/talking/laughing with me a lot. Kyle asked why he was hanging out with me cos i was 2 years older & Matt got defensive, saying i was just a girl and we were friends.
13. acted jealous when he thought i liked this other guy who liked me a lot, and wouldn’t stop teasing me about liking him even though i didn’t
14. comforts me when i get upset
everyone we meet thinks we’re either dating or we should date, and that we’re cute together. we’ve talked indirectly about relationships before and both agreed we’d rather be friends with a crush cos relationships don’t last as long. however, one time my friend asked him if he’d ever date someone 2 years older and he said maybe, it would depend, and not in high school. also when people say we like each other we both deny it but then he confuses me by making physical contact with me and teasing me all the time. he’s asked me if i like him about 4 times and i’ve denied it every time but i’m so worried he knows! please help

Trying To Burn A Music Cd….?

Ok yea believe it or not I have never done this… LOL… seriously. All I wanted to do was burn one dang song to a CDR. I have Roxio and Nero…. seems to be some sort of problem. My question is: my laptop has a DVDR on it… I thought this also would burn CDRs? Is that not the case? Cuz I’ve been trying for over a dang hour and it is failing. Thinking I need to go to one of my old pcs… like 2002 pcs with CDRs and burn this dang song.
Btw, in case anyone is curious… its a Natalie Merchant song as a gift for my sister.

I’m a novice on burning music. Been trying to burn a song to a CDR but then realized my CDR had something already on it… only had one. I have a bunch of DVD-Rs though. If I burn music using Nero or Roxio to a DVD-R, will it play in a CD player?
