I have a non-editable PDF file of an image, however I need to be able to edit it in Corel. Is it possible to convert a non editable pdf to an editable pdf? If so how do I do it? Thanks in advance.

PDF can’t be edited like microsoft word files. Even if in the latest Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, you can only modify PDF portfolio. So, a third party tool is needed.
The PDF editor works like a word processor.
With search & replace, spell checking, reflow and rejustify, plus the features you would expect from a PDF editor such as object editing, document construction, security and much more.

PDF’s are not made for editing
they are consider as Printed Format.
That is they are final and complete.
ADOBE Distiller can be used to Distill out the original.
but this inevitably is never quite the same.
the reversal process will inevitably break some copyright.
you simply should not be doing it.
1) There are PDF editor programs out there by they are intended to work with text.
2) Take a screen shot of it and crop out the stuff that isn’t the image.
