The dress code is informal or business casual – I know that much. The thing that’s bothering me, is that I’m not sure whether I’d have to keep shaving my facial hair every day. I have been attending college here in Ireland for the past 3 years and I’d usually let my beard grow throughout the week ( It grows extremely slowly anyway) and shave it on the weekend. The reason for this is that every time I do shave I get a rash and it’s really red for the next 1-2 days.
Thanks for your input.

You’re in Ireland, but you didn’t say which SAP office you’ll be in.
On the one hand, it is a software company, which tend to be more progressive in the sense that they’re not likely to care. On the other hand, companies have their idiosyncrasies, and you’d do well to avoid running afoul of them. I’d call or send an email to your new boss or to HR inquiring about all sorts of “first-day” type of information. Even though you already know about the dress code, ask anyways. Maybe ask whether they have a fridge for your lunch. And then at the end, maybe say something like, “And does the company request that the men be clean-shaven?”
Maybe an email would be overwrought. If you’re more comfortable, a phone call to your new boss might work better.
