My free service is being discontinued. I was looking into Zone Alarm, and I was wondering if it’s a good replacement for the McAfee Firewall, running Windows XP Media Center. Also, is it likely to interfere with AVG?

I am using kaspersky anti virus and the report generated by the kaspersky shows 24 trojans and 14 virus in my PC.
Does kaspersky removes those trojans and viruses ? or Do I have to delete them? How can I delete or block those viruses?

I have a 7mo daughter and it is getting VERY cold here at night, heading into winter. We have a air con/heater split system and was just wondering if it is safe to us overnight while we’re sleeping, she’s been sleeping in her own room since 5 months… She just kicks her blankets off so that doesn’t work (she’s a very active baby girl!) and I am waiting for my sleeping bag to arrive. I am paranoid not so much that she’ll overheat, but leaving her with the air con alone..?
Personal opinions please..?

It’d be nice to have only one gadget to go through the day with as I’m pretty mobile.

I installed the trial of Photoshop CS5 extended, i installed it properly but when im launching the photoshop cs5 it tells me: application error: Application failed to intialize (0xc000001d) click ok to terminate the program.
Whats the problem?
i uninstall it and install it again in 2x but the same problem happens.
please help me?

I have XP Pro, SP3.
I got Norton Internet Security 2008. Along with it was a program called Norton Save and Restore. (I think it was based on Ghost.) I don’t remember what all its capabilities were but I always backed up the whole c: drive and then did incremental backups. I liked its concept. The install disk was bootable and provided a partial Windows environment so Save and Restore could work and if Windows then crashed you could get in and see (access) your backups and then restore them.
But for me it didn’t work right. It saw my card reader (SD, etc) and a USB flash drive but it wouldn’t see my USB external 200 GB HD. And SD cards and flash drives (at this time) aren’t big enough to hold big backups. That was enough reason not to use it but it also would start taking an extremely long time to backup (essentially not working).
I really liked the idea of having a bootable disk and of being able to access your backups when you couldn’t get into Windows. Are there any backup programs like that. What are the best backup programs.

i had this one that was a hand me down from by brother, it use to do my head in having to rewind to get to my favourite song. I would either rewind too far and then fast foward too much
