Is Iron Man portrayed correctly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I never read the Iron Man comics so I do not know how he is depicted in the comics. I am asking because I know that they did not portray Batman correctly in the Batman movies.. For instance, the in the Nolan series, Batman is depicted as a guy in a costume who gets gadgets from his friend and uses them. However in the comics, Batman has a genius intellect, is a great detective and a martial arts expert. Did they dumb down Iron Man too ?

ACCOUNTS & HISTORICAL EVIDENCE ON THE EXISTANCE OF JESUS OF NAZARETH
1.Cornelius Tacitus (AD55-120) Roman historian: Most acclaimed works are the Annals and the Histories. The Annals cover the period from Augustus Caesar’s death in AD14 to the death of the Emperor Nero in AD68, while the Histories begin after Nero’s death and proceed to the reign of Domitian in AD96. In the Annals, Tacitus alludes to the death of Christ and to the existence of Christians at Rome. See Annals XV,44: But not all the relief that could come from man, not all the bounties that the prince could bestow nor all the atonements which could be presented to the gods, availed to relieve Nero from the infamy of being believed to have ordered the conflagration, the fire of Rome. Hence to suppress the rumor, he falsely charged with the guilt, and punished with most exquisite tortures, the persons commonly called Christians, who were hated for their enormities. Christus, the founder of the name, was put to death by Pontius Pilate, procurator of Judea in the reign of Tiberius: but the pernicious superstition, repressed for a time, broke out again, not only through Judea, where the mischief originated, but through the city of Rome also.” (The misspelling of Christ as “Christus” was a common error made by pagan writers). It is interesting that Pilate is not mentioned in any other pagan document which has survived. It is an irony of history that the only surviving reference to him in a pagan document mentions him because of the sentence of death he passed on Jesus the Messiah.
2.Suetonius: Roman historian and court official during the reign of the Emperor Hadrian. Suetonius wrote in his Life of Claudius: “As the Jews were making constant disturbances at the instigation of Chrestus, he expelled them from Rome.” (Life of Claudius 25.4). Chrestus is a misspelling of Christus; the spelling probably assumes that the spelling of Jesus’ title “Christos” was the same as ate ChiRho symbol which was also a literary device which indicated a quote worthy of note = the ‘chrestus” symbol. Claudius’ expulsion of the Christians form Rome is mentioned in Acts 18:2. This event took place in 49AD. In his work Lives of the Caesars, Suetonius also wrote: “Punishment by Nero was inflicted on the Christians, a class of men given to a new and mischievous superstition.” Assuming Jesus was crucified in the early thirties, Suetonius places Christians in the Roman capital less than 20 years later and he reports that they were suffering for their faith and dying for their conviction that Jesus had really lived, died and that He had risen from the dead!
3.Pliny the Younger: Roman governor in Bithynia AD112 wrote to Emperor Trajan to seek advice as to how to treat the Christians. He recounts that he had been killing Christian men, women, and children. He is concerned that so many have chosen death over simply bowing down to a statue of the emperor or being made to “curse Christ, which a genuine Christian cannot be induced to do.” (Epistles X, 96)
4.Tallus: Tallus was a secular historian who (circa AD52) wrote a history of the Eastern Mediterranean from the Trojan War to his own time. The document no longer exists but it was quoted by other writers like the Christian, Julius Africanus, who wrote around AD221. He quotes Tallus’ comments about the darkness that enveloped the land during the late afaternoon hours when Jesus died on the cross. Julius wrote: Tallus, in the third book of his histories, explains away this darkness as an eclipse of the sun’unreasonably, as it seems to me (unreasonably of course, because a solar eclipse could not take place at the time of the full moon, and it was at the season of the Paschal full moon that Christ died.” Julius Africanus, Chronography, 18.1 The importance of Tallus’ comments is that the reference shows that the Gospel account of the darkness that fell across the earth during Christ’s crucifixion was well known and required a naturalistic explanation from non-Christians.
5.Phlegon: Julius Africanus also quoted another secular scholar whose works are now lost. Phlegon wrote a history called Chronicles. Phlegon also comments on the darkness at the time of Christ’s crucifixion: “During the time of Tiberius Caesar an eclipse of the sun occurred during the full moon.” Julius Africanus, Chronography, 18.1
(The 3rd century Christian apologist Origen also references Phlegon’s record of this event in his work Celsum, 2.14,33,59 as does the 6th century writer Philopon (De.opif.mund. II, 21.
6.Mara Bar-Serapion: Syrian stoic philosopher who wrote a letter from prison to his son circa 70AD. He compares Jesus to the philosophers Socrates and Pythagoras.

Ok I see dozens of questions reagarding static.ak.fbcdn.net, and a lot of people are having issues with it. For some people it’s causing slowdown, for others it’s making IE (or other browsers) crash, and for other people it’s messing with their ability to use facebook. In someone else’s question on it I decided to do some researching so here are my results.

Some online research I’ve done says that it is related to facebook and occurs when using facebook, but in my case (and apparently other people’s) it happens on all sorts of pages, especially various news articles on yahoo.
I just reinstalled windows xp like 2 days ago, and haven’t installed anythig remotely dubious, and no add-ons except flash, java, pdf, and shock, and yet my IE is constantly crashing. I’ve run Malwarebytes, kaspersky, trojan remover and spybot and none of them say I have anything, so the only thing I can think of is this static.ak.fbcdn.net constantly trying to load…
I completely uninstalled java,and I still get this trying to load, so it’s not java. I also tried something else someone in another version of this question suggested. Putting the page into compatability mode DOES stop this static.ak.fbcdn thing from trying to load, but I am wondering if that’s really a fix or just a band aid… I also noticed that on all of the yahoo pages this is happening on there is a new thing that wants you to sign in. It’s an app, yeah an app, on these yahoo pages called yahoo! activity, and if you sign into it, it links your yahoo and facebook accounts and posts every article you read, and every picture you view to your facebook account. Did someone say google was being intrusive? Well apparently so is yahoo now. However my using this app did NOT stop the stupid static.ak.fbcdn thing from trying to load when i put the page back out of compatibility mode. I’ll try reinstalling java next, and if that doesn’t work then I’ll try uninstalling flash and see what happens.
Ok, I reinstalled java and that didn’t change it so I tried using anything but yahoo to make my IE crash. I loaded 10 youtube videos at once, 7 google news pages, and 10 pages on a forum I go to, and while my computer staggered, IE did not crash. This is definitely something related to yahoo and facebook. I’m not going to bother with flash, this is obviously a yahoo/facebook bug they need to fix.
My best answer is use compatibility mode until they fix it. Or add it to blocked sites. I don’t know if that will affect using facebook though….

So. It is a yahoo/facebook bug. Anyone have any idea how to clue in yahoo and facebook and get them to fix it? Because its irritating a lot of people.
I have used yahoo almost exclusively since 1995, and this needs to be addressed, or I, and a lot of people are going to end up using something else.

My Classics teacher is infamous for being discreet. In brief, my account must include 1) a real colony outside the Aegean, 2) its mother city, 3) comments on the political and economic conditions at home that motivated the enterprise, 4) a background myth for Greek and native consumption, 5) an oikist (founder), 6) qualifications for those recruited/forced to emigrate, 7) divine sanction for the enterprise in the form of an oracle, a ritual send-off, 9) an account of the journey, 10) reports on how the natives reacted to this incursion and how the settlers communicated and worked with these possibly hostile locals.
I have no idea where to start research, as I know nothing about colonies. If someone just knew a previously existing colony and mother-city, that alone would help so much. Thanks!

I wanted to add songs to a moserbear DVD+RW. I purchased it few days back. Now today I tried to add songs to it as I used to do for all normal cd’s, but it showed me that Windows encountered a error and cannot add song to the dvd. After searching I got to know that to add songs to this I’ll have to download NERO. Hence I then went to this link- http://nero-burning-rom.soft32.com/free-… & downloaded it.
Have I done correct?
Also if yes, tell me step by step how can I add songs to my dvd now,,,
