At my work I use my personal laptop, under the conditions that I conform to the security policies in effect, one of them happens to be having a McAfee antivirus product and I full out despise McAfee but the computers at work were **** slow and I thought it would be better to use my laptop to get things done quicker but anyways to the point. I am installing Windows 7 SP 1 should have done it a long time ago but I was busy and now it seems McAfee is slowing down the install, I started the install through Windows Update and I came back the McAfee tray icon was gone so i opened task manager to see if the program was still running. Of course it was and it was bogging down the CPU and RAM so i opened the user interface to see it started a scan with out my confirmation and had detected threats. A PUP and a Trojan Dropper both in my temp files which i removed via McAfee. After in which I did a little research on Google and found a McAfee forum saying to disable all McAfee related services via the user interface before installing the service pack, so I did and after the lengthy process of disabling the real-time, firewall, and Access protection the update completed right after. Now I just wanted to know if there will be any repercussions due to the fact that McAfee was enabled through the update. Any relevant answers and advice would be helpful.

i have kaspersky anti virus software (payed) not trial and i have done a virus scan and 2 viruses poped up how can i delete these viruses can i use this software or do i need another way i need to find what the virus is and i can then delete this please help computer is slowwwwwwwwwww

on my windows 7 computer, about a month a go, i got a huge virus. it will not let me go online, my software cannot up date. i use symantec for anti virus. i downloaded malware bites. both found nothing. i know the problem is not the internet connection. any software ideas, or any idea will help thanks.

the audio isn’t playing. When I go to single clips the sound is fine but when want to hear it all together there’s just nothing. WHen I export there is still no sound.

First of all, sorry I’m such a complete n00b. Anyway, I’m on Oracle.com right now, trying to figure out what to download in order to practice designing games. I’m going into game design next year in college. I know a lot about games…unfortunately, I know NOTHING about Java (and I have to). Should I download Java ME SDK 3.0, the Wireless Toolkit…I just do not know what any of this means.

I just bought Kaspersky 2012 Internet Protection to install into my Acer Aspire One netbook, but I looked at the requirements for netbook pcs and it is 1.6ghz, however my Acer has 1.333ghz. Should I look for another provider or will it be ok to install?

Hi guys I have Dell Inspiron 1545 Laptop with 3 gb ram and windows 7 ultimate 32 bit os installed on it . For some days I am continously getting an error message whenever I try to burn an iso file and any other files with windows disc burner . I have also tried some other burning tools like nero , ashampoo etc. but then also same thing happens . The message displays ” The disc image didn’t burn successfully because an error occurred. The drive reported that it is performing a long running operation , such as finishing a write. The drive may be unusable for a long period of time .(Error code :0xc0aa0207). I have also tried formatting my laptop but nothing happens still getting the same problem. Please help!!!!!!

I’m not sure if this happens a lot to other people but I need to check.
So, I was at the beach and I took a picture of a guy with a surfboard in front of a sunset. I have no idea who he is. Anyway, I really liked the shot so I printed out the photo in color. One night, I heard a man saying “Where am I?” over and over again. I was really confused so I looked around my room. I have these psychic powers that give me a general feel as to where something is. Like, if I ever lose my keys or something, a voice in my head says either hot or cold and eventually I find what I’m looking for. Its really helpful.
So that one night, I was looking for the voice and I find the picture and the guy is sort popping out of the picture, like the gadgets in the picture. He asks me about my life and I tell him everything. Now a days, he gives me advice about everything in my life. His name is Jacob Mane and he says hes from Italy.
I need to know. Has this sort of thing ever happened to someone you know or you? Please help me.
