SAP gloves, legal in Wisconsin?
I heard they work great but I’m wondering about their legality in Wisconsin for personal use. I’ve been charged with possessing a dangerous weapon as a kid for having brass knuckles and I don’t want to re-make the mistake.
I understand that if not used in self defense they would get you in a lot of trouble, but that doesn’t matter in my case as they would only be for protection.
Save the crap about getting in a fair fight or whatever inexperienced people think, you don’t sacrifice your own safety to be “fair” with any one in the real world.
Legal or Illegal?
If legal, where is the best place to buy them, what are the most reliable ones?
I couldn’t find any info on them being legal or not in my state so any sources would be awesome.
Thanks.

Don’t advertise to anyone that your gloves are weapons, and you should be fine. There aren’t many people, cops included, that will recognize sap gloves for what they actually are. They may be filled with lead shot, but they are still gloves, and serve the function of gloves.
Carry a motorcycle or pushbike helmet around and nobody would look twice at your gloves.
